Authors Aloud helps schools across the UK and abroad arrange author visits, with options for both in-person and virtual events.
Authors Aloud represents over 300 authors, illustrators, storytellers and poets, including some of the biggest names in children’s books. They can provide expert advice to help schools find an author or illustrator to suit a target age group or to support a specific subject or theme. Events can be for large groups or smaller, hands-on workshops.
Cost: Costs will vary depending on the author and the type of event and will include the Authors Aloud fee.
About Authors Abroad: Authors Aloud was set up by Naomi Cooper, Annie Everall OBE and Anne Marley MBE, three children’s book experts with backgrounds in children’s publishing and library services. Their aim is to make it as easy as possible to bring children, books and authors together in schools, libraries and festivals.
