Barnes Children’s Literature Festival is London’s largest dedicated children’s literature festival. Alongside the ticketed weekend Family Festival, it offers a free Schools Programme for state-funded primary schools across a number of London boroughs:
- Monday 20th May: The Rose Theatre, Kingston
- Thursday 23rd May: Genesis Cinema, Tower Hamlets
- Tuesday 11th June: Lyric Theatre, Hammersmith
- Wednesday 12th June: Battersea Arts Centre
- Thursday 13th June: Wandsworth Civic Suite
- Friday 14th and Monday 17th June: Twickenham Stadium
- Thursday 20th June and Friday 21st June: Barnes Green
This year’s programme features a host of best-selling authors, illustrators and poets, including: Dapo Adeola, Joseph Coelho, Tracey Corderoy and Steven Lenton, Christopher Edge, Vashti Hardy, Zanib Mian, Jenny Pearson, SF Said, Rashmi Sirdeshpande, Katie and Kevin Tsang, and Ross Welford.

About Barnes Children’s Literature Festival: Barnes Children’s Literature Festival was launched in 2015 by a group of parents with a love of books and a desire to inspire the next generation of readers. The BCLF Schools Programme was launched in 2018 and is now the largest free schools programme of its kind in England.
