Just Imagine provides a range of review and recommendation options to help primary teachers develop their own book knowledge and keep abreast of the latest children’s publishing.
In the Reading Corner is a collection of podcasts covering the latest literacy research, author interviews, and children’s book reviews. Available via Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts or Spotify, there are currently over 100 podcasts with new material added regularly.
Book Blast is a video round-up of the best children’s books published each month. Available to view on YouTube, the presentations cover all genres from picture books to poetry.
Book Reviews by a panel of teachers, librarians and teacher educators. There are over 1000 reviews on the Just Imagine website that can be searched by theme, genre, subject and age.

About Just Imagine: Just Imagine was established in 2010 by Nikki Gamble, a former teacher and university lecturer and author of Exploring Children’s Literature: Reading for Knowledge, Understanding and Pleasure. The literacy consultancy works with schools in the UK and abroad to develop outstanding reading and writing practice, where stories and literature are placed firmly at the heart of learning. As well as developing reading projects and programmes for teachers to deliver in schools, Just Imagine offers training and consultancy on a wide range of literacy topics.
