The Kitabu dual-language ebook library is a collection of over 500 interactive ebooks that offer text and audio narration in both a home and school language, with more than 25 home languages currently available.

As well as the audio function, each ebook also includes videos, teacher’s notes, interactive tools and a set of vocabulary and comprehension activities, such as;

  • Flash cards
  • Labelling, matching and sequencing activities
  • Video questionnaires

The dual-language ebooks feature mainly fiction and folk stories and are available as single titles or as Language Collections. Schools can also register for a KitabuClub licence to access the full collection of over 500 titles. The ebooks are available to read and listen to online and can be accessed on iPads, Androids and Smartphones by downloading the Bilingual Books app.

Cost: From £4.50 for a year’s access to a single title. School licences start at £50.00 ex VAT / year for a single user. (A month’s trial service for £17.50 also available.)
