About Library Girl and Book Boy: Jo Cummins is an experienced primary teacher and English manager who believes that good books and a love of reading are the cornerstones of raising attainment in literacy. She has a particular interest in funny books and the role they play in creating readers and has been a judge on the Laugh Out Loud Book Awards.
