Literacy Hive Likes:
- Audiobooks can be a good way to engage children who are reluctant readers or who find reading difficult, and can help them access a wider range of texts.
- World of Stories can provide young people who do not have access to books at home with a way of engaging with a variety of written texts and stories.
- For EYFS and KS1 pupils, the Share a Story Corner videos, featuring a selection of popular picture books, are also available.
- Read the National Literacy Trust’s review of the latest research exploring the role of audiobooks in supporting children’s literacy.
