Authors Abroad provides a service helping schools across the UK and abroad arrange in-school author visits.
Authors Abroad works closely with schools to help them find the author event that will best suit their needs, whether that’s a whole-school event for World Book Day, or a writing workshop for a small group. With 200 authors, illustrators, storytellers and poets on their books, Authors Abroad can put forward options that are tailored to a school’s budget, the age and size of the audience, or a particular subject or theme.
Cost: Costs will vary depending on the author and the type of event.
About Authors Abroad: Authors Abroad has been organising school author visits, festivals and theatre shows with some of the UK’s most respected children’s authors, poets, illustrators and storytellers for over 12 years. Their mission is to provide inspirational author visits to support and enhance the quality of education in schools across the UK and abroad.
