The Centre for Literacy in Primary Education has a collection of 23,000 children’s books which are housed in its newly refurbished Literacy Library in London. From this extensive collection, the team at CLPE have put together a range of themed booklists to support teachers in the classroom. The booklists cover a wide range of themes including:

  2. Black History
  3. Women’s History
  4. Human Rights Day
  5. Refugee experience
  6. Celebrating kindness
  7. Wordless picture books
