The Centre for Literacy in Primary Education has a collection of 23,000 children’s books which are housed in its Literacy Library in London. From this extensive collection, the team at CLPE create themed booklists to support the literacy curriculum. The booklists cover a wide range of themes and curriculum subjects from Early Years to Year 7, including:
- Author booklists
- Black History
- Women’s History
- Human Rights Day
- Refugee experience
- Celebrating kindness
- Wordless picture books
