The Children’s Books and Reading Promotion Department maintains a database of children’s authors, illustrators and poets living or working in Wales. The team can provide advice to help schools find an artist to suit a target age group or to support a specific subject or theme.
Meet the Author also runs regular tours to support events like World Book Day and the Summer Reading Challenge.
Cost: Free but authors and illustrators will charge for in-school events.
