About The Poetry Zone: The Poetry Zone was set up in 1988 by children’s poet and editor Roger Stevens. Roger has written over 40 books for children, including Razzmatazz and Be The Change: Poems to Help You Save the World. He is also a National Poetry Day Ambassador.

Literacy Hive Likes:

  • Poems by other children can be a great source of inspiration, while the prospect of being published can be very motivating.
  • All poems are read and edited by Roger Stevens prior to publication on the website.
  • The Poetry Zone runs regular poetry competitions for young people to take part in.
