The Poetry Zone website was set up to provide a space where young poets could see their work published and share it with a wider audience. Since it was founded, The Poetry Zone has published more than 30,000 poems by young people from around the English-speaking world.
The website also includes reviews of poetry books, interviews with top children’s poets and tips and ideas for teaching poetry.
About The Poetry Zone: The Poetry Zone was set up in 1988 by children’s poet and editor Roger Stevens. Roger has written over 40 books for children, including Razzmatazz and Be The Change: Poems to Help You Save the World. He is also a National Poetry Day Ambassador.
