If you would like your pupils to write to Father Christmas and receive a reply, Royal Mail have issued the following instructions for schools for Christmas 2024:

Dear Teacher/Group Leader,

If your children would like to write to Santa this year, please email Santamail@royalmail.com with the following information:

• Your school name and address.
• The number of letters that you would like to receive from Santa.
• Your end of term date.

You do not need to physically post your letters to us, but if you would prefer to, please send these to:

Santa/Father Christmas
Santa’s Grotto
Reindeerland
XM4 5HQ

Please take note of Santa’s top tips for sending your letters:

1. Put all the individual letters from the children into one outer envelope, ensuring we receive them all together.
2. Apply the correct postage when sending letters to us (the North Pole will take care of return postage costs).
3. Enclose a response slip confirming the name and address of your school (including postcode) and your end of term date. (Only include one slip for your whole school.)
4. Put your school’s return address on the outer envelope, along with Santa’s address above.
5. Post your letters to reach Santa by Friday 6th December.

We will send Santa’s replies to your school, for you to hand out to the children.
