CLiPPA  – the CLPE Poetry Award  – showcases the best published poetry for children and is the only award of its kind in the UK. The award is judged by a panel of poets and literacy experts.

There is also a CLiPPA Shadowing Scheme that encourages schools to explore and perform the poetry on the shortlist.

  • The CLiPPA shortlist 2023 will be released on 3rd May.
  • The winner will be announced at a CLiPPA Award ceremony at the National Theatre on 10th July.
